FLEETit in netherlands
Channels and North Sea.
How does it feel when sailing in channels between buildings, the way usually drive your car on the road. And not only in one town, but from one two another, and through the country. Instead of asphalt you have water under yourself.

Welcome to the motherland of yachting: Netherlands.

WHY YOU SHOULD GO
Details
Let's Rock & Roll
Day 1
Workum.
Quiet and small town in Friesland. This is the kind of place where you can easily shoot a short movie about a leaf falling from the tree, or a plastic bag being pushed by a wind.
Here we are checkin into our yachts. Polar circle is still pretty far bu days are long so why don't we start our trip to the east right now.
Day 2
Heeg.
Village in the same area. Days ago — powerful trading center with England. This craft was so the main source of income for locals, so English became one of the subjects to study in schools.
The village is not too big, we just walk here for couple hours and continue our trip.
Grou.
Will sail throught the channel JohanFrisokanaal, try our sails on lakes Mora and Oden. In couple hours we get to the town Grou.
Channel and lakes are the basis of life here. All covered with boats and boatyards. We will spend the night in this beautiful place.
Day 3
De Alde Feanen National Park.
Early in the morning we dock in the national park. Here they will allow us to pet some ponies and watch old Holland mills.
Groningen.
The biggest city of the northern Netherlands. Medieval architecture, channels and bicycles — all the things we love Holland for. Groningen is known as the worlds bicycle capital, they are more than a half of towns transportation. Large amount of students and nightlife makes it the Northern Amsterdam.

Day 4
Farmsum.
The first town at the exit from Ems channel. Cathedral cathedral and mills will make the symbol of it.
We spend the night here before entering the Ems river to be flown to the North sea.
Day 5
Borkum.
We will exit the channel and head to Frisian islands. Will leave Netherlands for just to visit one German island, Borkum. This island shore is all covered with beaches, it has lots of entertainment. People from whole north of Germany spend their vacation here.
Schiermonnikoog.
Just 1000 people leave on whole island. Everything else here, is a just a huge beach. Lets spend a night here.
Day 6
Ameland.
We will take a look at the freedom village. Locals have declared an autonomy in 15th century.
Terschelling.
The island where locals have built some of the farms using masts of ship wrecks washed ashore. The region is known by the fact that the something is always beeing brought by the sea to its shores. Sometimes there are even whole containers which have fallen from the ship deck.
West-Terschelling — is an old fishermen village. The very northern atmosphere here is created by landscape: saint Bernard lighthouse is looking at everything from above, while boats and ferries sailing back and forth in the harbor.
Here we will stay overnight, and explore local culture.
Day 7
Workum.
Today we get to where everything has began, check-out from the boat, and transfer to the airport.
