FLEETit is going TO Norway
Norway saga: deeper into the fjord
Hello friends,

After my first time sailing in Norway (photo) me and some of my crew got the feeling of not having enough of a fjord views. Here is my answer to that feeling. In 2018 we will focus on exploring the fjord views from the sea level, and also get to the glacier and some waterfalls, which we missed last time. I even have an idea to sail all the way to Odda, while part of the crew is hiking to the Trolltunga.

Winter is coming!

Look at our detailed plan
Let's Rock & Roll
Day 1
This town is also known as Fjord Gates.
If you want to get some sightseeing on your own then make sure to arrive one day earlier. After exploring Bergen we travel to Hjellestad, where we find the marina and our yacht.
The plan is simple. We get here by bus, buy goods we need for the trip, and load up the yacht. And then we get out into the open water.
Day 2
This fjord village has a lot to offer. There are the Hatteberg waterfall and the Rosendal Baroniet House with a garden and surrounding fields. We'll be spending the night here.
Day 3
Getting here by car. The trip to the Trolltunga starts from here. You guessed right - it does mean the Troll Tongue.
Make sure to bring tracking shoes and something warm like skiing pants with you. This hike will take us 8 hours in total. And it is worth every sweaty bit of effort. The view is legendary. Let's hope it won't be crowded by tourists, and we will get to enjoy a little solitary pleasure. For all you introverts on the trip.
Day 4
In Tørrvikbygd we will find a unique and hidden place, Hardingasete. Here we find a collection of old Norwegian houses dating back to 1650 - 1850. These old houses have been renovated and decorated with antiques, but at the same time they contain all the comforts of today, with modern kitchens and bathrooms. We can even stay in one of those for a night! Like Vikings did a while ago!
Day 5
Here we will find the river that is coming all the way from glacier. My suggest is to have a walk to the glacier. Have you done it ever before?
Day 6
The Inn was established as a royal order, from the Danish King Christian Quart in the 1500-hundreds, decided that inns should be built at each half- or full day's journey in the channel lead.
Day 7
Today we wake up in an absolute harmony with ourselves. We leave the Stolmen and head to our marina at Hjellestad, where everything actually had begun a week ago.
Day 8
In the morning we checkout from the yacht, and with a peace in mind go to Bergen for our flight back home. Now we have a story to tell, story about our northern adventure...
